My so called life...

So I havent been on here for a while. I really havent been motivated to do much of anything actually but I have about 6 months until my wedding time so I am convinced that for the next 6 months it will be all about wedding stuff!

Through my thorough research I have found so many things…some I will be sharing. This one will be exclusive to the hottest colors and palettes out there. I am still trying to find my own palette since my personality is sort of whimisical and soft and romantic…some of these dont fall into line with the time that I am getting married…July!

But blog after blog I have read that I should just pick the color that I want and not to worry about the seasons and all of that other stuff.

I have so much to share on here! I’ll get to that in a later blog about the venue and some other things but for now…all you blushing brides…enjoy!

Purple and Yellow. This reminds me of the Lakers:( My family would love for me to pick these colors but I cant bring myself to do it! It might be right for somebody though. This just isnt my personality.

Orange and Grey. I do love these colors. Its something about this palette that makes me smile.

Fuchsia and Navy. I love these colors too! Very bright but those two colors complement each other greatly!

Red, White and Navy. Not my forte but in the right venue this color combination could be very pretty!

Grey and Yellow. Pretty Combination. Great for summer weddings.

Purple and Green. Good Combination. This would be good for outdoor weddings to complement nature.

Bronze, Charcoal and Cream. I really like these colors. Its something about it that makes it vintage and elegant. It would be PERFECT for winter weddings.

Navy, blush and silver. I kind of like this palette Although I would rather have more blush than blue but nevertheless its something elegant about this palette.

I want to say today that I have breast cancer. I am believing God for healing. This if my first time sharing this but I am a believer that God can heal even me. I have always been sickly since I was a child…I have been carrying a tumor for a very long time…apparently it has evolved…I just wanted to get this off of my chest.

I allow people to treat me any kind of way and they have no idea that tomorrow I may not be here. I dont want people to feel sorry for me. I just would like friends who love me and those who are willing to pray.

I have been avoiding treatment but I believe its time to be a woman about it and enter fight cancer. I believe God will cause me to be victorious.

Cancer is limited

It cannot cripple love

It cannot shatter hope

It cannot corrode faith

It cannot destroy peace

It cannot kill friendship

It cannot suppress memories

It cannot silence courage

It cannot invade the soul

It cannot steal eternal life

It cannot conquer the spirit

Sometimes I want to give up…I’ll be honest, but the Lord continues to entrust people to me…why I don’t know. Even though it takes much out of me there is a fulfillment that I get whenever I am put in a position to witness and share yet it humbles me the more.

I am continuing to pray for wonderful things to happen to me…I believe that it will one day. It the mean time I have to pay the cost for choosing to be a disciple.

One day my life will make sense. The things that God has for me to do will not be denied.

One thing I do know is that for the first time in my life I feel free….free as a bird…free from tradition…free from man made bondages…free from the opinion’s of others…just free…and I love this feeling

Not everything has changed but I feel better.

Sometimes I just want to break free…free from this mold…I just want to be a rockstar…I want to cause a change to occur in this world…I’m ready to be the change I want to see. How many people want to affect this world with me!

As much as I have tried to run from the call of ministry it has caught up with me yet again…yet I have such distaste in my mouth for this man made church because of the heart of the people I encounter. One one hand I experience so much love, so much freedom from a foreign land…yet in the land that I knew and was familiar in, the people dont show love. How can you proclaim that you are a Christian yet feel justified in your carnal mindset. I dont understand how you can treat a fellow believer how I have been treated yet God warms my heart by letting me know that even Jesus experienced what I am experiencing.

I thank God that I have His compassion. If I did not love God and his people and even those who have not confessed that they believe in Him where would I be? If it was not for the compassion of God for me where would I be? I refuse to take his love for me for granted.

It hurts, I cant deny my emotions yet God is good. He will prevail and he will bring justice on behalf of me.

I see so much hurt and I want to help this world. We spend so much time in church and not enough time being the church. When are missionarys actually going to do mission work? When are evangelists going to evangelize? There are so many people that need help but we spend our energy trying to be the next big it person and stroking each other egos in the church and not enough time fulfilling our mission and purpose in this life.

I love God and I thank God I’m free. I feel like starting a rock band and rocking out for Jesus. I have my guitar already…I’m ready to do something profound in this earth…in Jesus name!

People will stop being nasty to me…

I just want this life of mine to be fulfilling…

One day people will see my heart…

Until then, I will live this life out…
